Testimonials

These are just a few of our clients that have endorsed the TACA Product

Martin Dinsdale — Toxfree Waste Management

I have been a customer of T.A.C.A for the last couple of years using their products for our Glass Granulating machine and have found their service to be absolutely second to none.

Although I say customer, it really is more of a partnership as they have been very actively involved with us, listening to what we need but also coming out on site many times to discuss possible improvements that they can make for us and working together to get the best out of our machinery.

Since we have been working together, we have had a 125% improvement in our output due to constantly striving for better and stronger parts that last so much longer than we had been using in the past.

I have been extremely pleased with the service and professionalism of Eric and his staff at T.A.C.A and look forward to this relationship continuing for many years to come.

Darren Dunn - Holcim Quarry Montecute

After Discussions with TACA, Montacute Quarry decided to fit and trial a cutting edge with TACA process applied. It was decided to coat the cutting edges on both of our 972H loaders. Hoping not only to double the hours out of the edge, we were also wanting to improve the safety on our site via reduced manual handling exposure.

The TACA cutting edges have been on the loaders for the past 4 months, during that time we would have normally fitted a replacement edge as we were only getting 800-900hrs until change out. However, we have not rotated the TACA edges as yet though they have done approximately 700hrs.The trial is still continuing with exceptional results, data is still being gathered .

There are 3 tasks in a cutting edges life,
Fitting the edge, turning the edge, and replacing the edge.

I believe in a 12 month period for both our 972H loaders we have the potential to remove approximately 18 manual handling tasks. The cutting edge with the TACA has reduced the exposure to manual handling tasks down from approximately 18 to 6 which will reduce the risk of injury. Not to mention the reduction of down time of the machine’s over a 12 month period, as I mentioned before we are continuing to gather exact data whilst the trial is still being conducted.

I would expect the annual savings to be of a significant benefit for any site using this product  and would be a OIP benefit for Holcim as a company.

Once again we thank TACA for their support on offering their product to the Montacute Quarry.

Pryde Inglis - Pryde Inglis Contracts

Pryde Inglis Contracts is a sports turf renovation and maintenance company, carrying out work for local authorities, sports clubs, golf courses and race tracks, throughout Victoria and New South Wales.  Over three years ago we imported a new type of soil aeration machine from Europe, the first of its kind in Victoria.  With this came the problem of either importing soil engaging blades or having them made locally.  A chance meeting with Shannon from TACA Metro at a field day made the second option very easy!!!

Shannon told me he had a hard facing product that would be as good as, if not better than the original blades which were fitted with a solid tungsten tile.  I was a bit hesitant about using the hard facing at first as I have had almost 30 years experience in agriculture and construction and I have seen and used most of the other types of hard facing on the market with poor results.  My doubts were to be proved wrong as the new blades outlasted the originals almost 3 times over, to which I have only used TACA coated blades since.

The story does not end there however, as both Shannon and Eric have over the past three years continued to improve and develop the quality of the parts they supply to me, in order for me to get the maximum usage/ profit from my blades.  I therefore cannot recommend TACA Metro enough, their service and attention to detail are second to none and I hope to do business with them for many years to come.

Brad Maisel - Sugar Cane Grower

"Our cane cutter disc's are doing in excess of 80,000 ton of sugar cane cutting in abrasive soil saving down time and achieving less cost as to wear parts and replacements. Having tried other tungsten hard facing on our sugar cane discs, the TACA application is far superior to any application we have ever tried. A Great Product".
